Anyone interested in taking over Community Auth?
#1

Hey guys, it's been a long time... I'm still doing dev work, but have been working for a company using WordPress for the last few years, and haven't done anything with CodeIgniter for a long time.
I am the author of an authentication module/plugin called Community Auth, and it was for CodeIgniter 3.x.
I have the domain: community-auth.com, and the repo at Bitbucket, and I'm wondering if anyone would like to take over with the project. I'm not looking for any compensation, other than to retain a link on the website that points to me as the original author/contributor.
I'd like to make sure I'm transferring the domain and repo to somebody that is serious, so please (in this thread) let me know if you are interested. At this point I can't offer much in the way of understanding how it works. Anyways, let me know.

I noticed your website is down, has the project officially been shuttered?

Yes. There never really seamed to be a whole lot of interest in the project, and this message sat here for about a year before I let the domain expire.

The repo still exists:
https://bitbucket.org/skunkbad/community...rc/master/

The website was truly a great asset if one was interested in community auth, but I'm not even sure I have a backup.

I really wanted to move in a direction of this newer project:
https://bitbucket.org/skunkbad/php-unive...rc/master/

I just don't have time, mostly because I don't have a reason to use it. I've been stuck in WordPressville for 5+ years now.

Why have you decided to give up?

Looks like the repo is still available at:
