So we have a basic cart class in CI - but has anyone created a basic shipping module as an add-on?
I've seen a few 'complete cart systems' such as flexi cart, gocart and total, but they seem to be 'complete carts' rather than just a simple shipping calculator and they don't handle what I need. Modifying them is probably more work than building something new.
I'm in the UK, shipping rates differ according to where in the UK the customer is - for example, Scottish Highlands etc. From what I've seen, this needs to be calculated based on postal code.
Has anyone built anything with all the UK postal zones?
I can build it all myself, but will save a lot of time if someone has done it already ....
