This is not related to Ci.
I started this from scratch.
crud on the fly needs you set servername and password in the config.php file
browse your databases choose any, select any table and crud it.

Mr green I could not add the attachment the first post, or maybe I do not know how.
next time I will mind the environment and use less trees.
