Potential website interruptions - jlp - 11-08-2018

A system upgrade is planned over the weekend of Nov 9-12.

There has been a plan for that for a couple of years, but no time to work on it Undecided
The collective wisdom is that phpbb would be a better choice.

The planned upgrades are specifically for electrical system maintenace, and for server hardware upgrades.
No changes are planned to the CI server/software, but the underlying infrastructure is likely to be disrupted during the upgrade window.

What about Vanilla? What help would you need to transition to a different forum tool? I might be willing to assist.
