We have a CodeIgniter PHP application that is a combination of an ERP, project management tool, & marketing tool. This website has been worked on by several people since its inception and - over the last year - we have spent a significant amount of work re-engineering & refactoring our code and are now ready to take our project to the next level & require an engineer to help support our work.
We seek a responsible and reliable developer that can help us roll out changes & support ongoing work.
Requirements
- Knowledge and proven experience in CodeIgniter 3 and OOP coding practices.
- Ability to work with Git / A deployment workflow. We use GitHub to maintain code and have a deployment service to post live. You must be able to work on a local environment and push code through a workflow
- Proficiency with fetching / rendering information via JSON, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with payment gateway APIs
- Advanced MySQL querying & query optimizations
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly, yet seek clarification when necessary in order to set and execute feasible expectations
- The ability to have a weekly standing meeting (1 hr) within 9-5 US-MST (UTC -7)
Additional Desired Skills
- Proficiency with technology Webpack, Sass, and jQuery plugins for modern, efficient, and scalable front-end coding
- Skills and experience with AWS environments
- Experience with other APIs & Composer
- Ability to complete PHP application performance optimization (Profiling, Unit Testing, MySQL Slow Queries)
- Proficiency with efficient/scalable data ingestion & data warehousing
- Experience building SaaS projects
