I purchased it exactly 1 year ago on LeanPub, but hadn't time to fully study it yet... But I really liked the first chapters.
As this book it's about a CI4 alpha or beta version, makes me wonder about how much CI4 evolved after that and if the book remains relevant... 
But for me, as a noobie about the web development important concepts, the book remains relevant...

Don't forget that you can also use common.php to create your own global methods.
