How is Latitude and Longitude of codeigniter Application User stored to mysql databa

Pls i am currently working on a project ( Employee Attendance Management System) using codeigniter 3.1.9. and i want to get the location of staff when they clock- in and when they clock- out. I would appreciate if quick response is given
