CI4 support MariaDB?

We are seeing increasing requests for migrations from MariaDB to MySQL.DB and dolphins

MariaDB has significantly diverged, and is no longer drop-in compatible with MySQL.
To migrate from MariaDB to MySQL, an in-place upgrade is not possible.
A logical dump and load will be necessary.

That's what Oracle says, yes. But I believe they may have a slightly different agenda than being a "friendly and open platform for developers and users".

I think there are zero issues as far as compatibility goes between MariaDB and MySQL for a major part of the use cases.
