external programs

where may I put external programs (for instance phpthumb)? To which directory should I put it to be able to use it from any place?

also it concerns JS and CSS files

First you create a Folder in Codeigniter folder. you put the css files and javascript file in that folder..

for example ..

the foldername is ExternalFile_Folder .this folder placed in Codeigniter folder or base url folder.
