Url suffix not working

Hi all,

I added a url suffix, ".html" in my config.php file, but its not working. None of the links in my sites are changed to this suffix.

But one thing I noticed is that, if I give a .html suffix manually in the url, it gives no 404 error.

Did I forget something other than adding the suffix in config.php?

Hi,

Always use anchor() function to create hyperlinks rather than doing it manually.

It'll create urls with url suffix in config file

Thanks mate...It was exactly the problem. I thought all the urls will automatically change regardless of how they are produced.
