Codeigniter & Blueimp file upload

I have been trying for ages to get the blueimp file upload working with codeigniter. SOme of the example sort of work and some really don't work at all. I have it working in that it uploads a file but I can't get the functionality of it displaying files already uploaded to work.

I can get it to work int he demo outside codeigniter but not with codeigniter. From what I read you need to put the uploadhandler into a library but I'm not sure how to use it.

I'm sure it must be a much used file upload method, so I was wondering if anyone had an example they could share with me, even if it's just the same as the demo (upload and also display stuff already there)?

I'm sure once I see the setup in place it'll all make sense, but at the moment I'm really struggling.

Thanks in advance,

Jim

I tried that before and it's a little complicated.
Currently I'm using this one,

Simple but effective.

That looks quite nice, but I am really wanting to upload lots of images at the same time, hence blueimp being perfect for my requirements. I read that you could plug it into the default upload module in codeigniter but not entirely sure how that works.
