Tendoo CMS: His real aim
#1

Hi, it's been a while that i haven't posted any news about tendoo cms, the fact is, we're busy working on a stable release, since we want to build a real stable app, working in such cloud application platform like Heroku (tendoo is being tested recently).

But you don't really have to take it as his name speaks by itself..  a CMS.

Tendoo is more a developpers tools than a CMS actually. Let me describe it very well.

For most common CodeIgniter projects we're using "application" folder to save our application files. For most of our project, we're using more than one library available out here (auth library, forum library, chat library, and so on).

This sometime make it very difficult, the include or remove those libraries from a project if they doesn't fit your needs. Tendoo provide an easy way to install those libraries and to remove it easilly.

Just download a CI library and create a config.xml file (read the tutorial), libraries files will be moved to right application folder (models, libraries, language, config, etc) and a manifest will be created, which list all this libraries files and where they are saved, so that it will be easier for you to remove it easilly (with all his files). But you won't have to delete those files manually, just click on "delete module" button to uninstall a library.

If you're working on a development environment, after having installed a module and made some changes, with "dev mode", you'll be able to download your project from Tendoo dashboard.

Tendoo is a tool, with user, group and permission, with a very handy dashboard using events (action and filter) to change almost everything.

Then What ?

Very soon the deployment on Heroku will be done. you'll be noticed when it'll be ready. But right now, you can learn how :
NexoPOS 2.6.2 available on CodeCanyon.
