I submitted a pull request, but don't have time to deal with the tests, and because it could just be a documentation issue, I'll just leave the pull request as is.

I discovered that the problem is in the documentation. I researched how to use driver libraries and documented it here.

Hey, don't work without a PHP debugger. Several free IDEs have this features built in. Two are NetBeans and CodeLobster. Without a debugger, it's like you're driving with a blindfold on -- you are going to crash!
