Codeigniter Updates all records instead of just one record

Hello, I have a small application that a small cooperative society use for managing their contribution. But once in a while, if I want to update a user with let us say 10USD, it will end up updating all the user records in the database with 10USD instead of updating only the selected user. This Issue does not happen always, it only happens once in a while, NOW WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM? I would appreciate your help.

Hard to say without having seen any of your code. Please share the method in your controller or model that is responsible for updating the user's record.

I'd bet it's real info... LOL.
