Web hosting Question with Codeigniter

I am going to finish my website off in the next couple of weeks I would like to know if any one has had any issues using one of these websites with codeigniter

godaddy or a2hosting

I have see on stack overflow some ht access issues with godaddy just not sure which one to pick.

You thoughts.

There's only one rule - please don't tell anyone to go and read the manual.  Sometimes the manual just SUCKS!

I have a shared hosting at A2 since december 2016 and i have not any issues with codeigniter or htaccess.

blue host is the one I recommend for pretty much anyone not doing a lot of load on their site. I would avoid godaddy at all costs.

I always advise people to find a hoster in their own country. Assuming you are primarily targeting people in your own country, that is. Downloading all of your assets (images etc) from across the ocean is not ideal for user experience.
