Pros and Cons of using Plesk
#1

I am considering using Plesk on AWS to help me configure my AWS Lightsail CI server/Chrome Extension application. Does anyone have any positive or negative  experiences with Plesk?

All positive from my experience, super simple to add websites and databases, really simple to add a free SSL certificate, also if you developing other sites that don't run on PHP like nodejs it again makes it easy to configure and run without conflicting with other sites.

I'd like to try setting up a remote server with just plain old linux and configuring the routes, but plesk does all the hardwork and has a real simple web interface to manage stuff, see what resources you are using and turn the server on and off easily etc.

@richb201,

I have used PLESK before and all of my memories of using it was positive. Based on my experience PLESK and CPanel are amongs the best.
