IgnitedCMS Pro

TESTED WITH PHP VERSION 7.0.8 AND BELOW ONLY IF YOU ARE HAVING REDIRECT ISSUES ON LOGIN PLEASE DOWNGRADE PHP TO 5.6 FOR A QUICK FIX.

IgnitedCMS is a completely FREE no nonsense content management system and it is undergoing a makeover.

Here's a sneek peek of what I'm working on.

Thanks IgnitedCMS

Redirects to the login page even after entering the correct details

I think it could be a bug on this version of CMS.

I think it could be a bug on this version of CMS.

I am having the same problem and cannot solve the convoluted login validation process.

No doubt that once logged in the details will be remembered and it will be easy from then on...

Meanwhile can anyone supply a solution or a simple fix to bypass the login system.

A nice mesh of interactive channels to facilitate killer systems. You have incentivized innovative systems and are a true envisioneer of front-end convergence. It's now possible to incubate web-enabled communities while orchestrating granular applications and empowering value-added e-markets.

Hi Guys, please delete any databases you have and try a fresh install. You will only have issues if you try to do a manual installation.That's the time you will have issues.

At the moment it is still in development though and undergoing a change which is why I didn't publicise the link in the first post to be honest. If you're on linux please give the directory writable permissions.

I tried that because I thought I had made a mistake with the names. A fresh installation still did not manage to get me logged in.

I found the hash password routine and pasted the result into the manually entered user table and it still did not work!

Have you tried a new installation and followed the installation details?

Looking forward to logging in and sending debug reports.

I think it might be session saving issue, what version of PHP are you guys using? Can you guys try testing the login with PHP 5.6 so I can isolate this issue?

Php Version:
PHP 7.3.9-1+ubuntu19.04.1+deb.sury.org+1 (cli) (built: Sep 2 2019 12:54:43) ( NTS )
Copyright © 1997-2018 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v3.3.9, Copyright © 1998-2018 Zend Technologies
with Zend OPcache v7.3.9-1+ubuntu19.04.1+deb.sury.org+1, Copyright © 1999-2018, by Zend Technologies

I managed to clear quite a few hurdles:

1. downloading the latest CI Version: 3.1.10
2. modified system directory in the index.php file so that it used the above version
3. remmed all included JavaScript files
4. modified the application/config/config.php file
5. modified the application/config/database.php file
6. added the following script to index.php

PHP Code:
if(0) :

define('ENVIRONMENT', isset($_SERVER['CI_ENV']) ? $_SERVER['CI_ENV'] : 'production');
else:

define('ENVIRONMENT', isset($_SERVER['CI_ENV']) ? $_SERVER['CI_ENV'] : 'development');
endif;

Yes thank you for bringing that to my attention, this version has only been tested with PHP 7.0.8 and below.
Just a note to anyone else, you don't have to do any of the above simply downgrading your PHP version will fix all issues.

I will eventually do an update to cater for this. But if anyone else is having the same problem downgrading to PHP 5.6 -7.0.8 would fix it.

Additionally, if you are testing this on linux systems you will have to make the entire directory writeable before running the install.

chmod 777 - R ignitedcms-pro

(it is advisable not to use this for production yet)

To get started please refer to the documentation, as I said before this is still in development. But looking forward to any feedback.
