Yup. Its currently running on a basically stock version of CI (from the svn).

In the same way that CI itself is compatible with previous versions. In general, there are steps that need to be taken to upgrade, but the libraries are largely the same. So no it won't work on previous CI versions without some work, but that work is pretty straight forward (and indicated in the upgrade docs).

Open up system/codeigniter/codeigniter.php and look for define('CI_VERSION', '1.6.1');

Oh, and an aside, I'm serious about applying for the position. It hasn't been filled, and I'd love to see some more CodeIgniter-ers apply.

The position is working remotely, so your location is not that important provided you can work US business hours. I'm in Toronto (Canada) for example, we have staff all over the states, and today hired Ingmar, from Austria.

You know.. the suspense is killing me (the fact that i now wouldn't have to learn how to integrate MediaWiki, PhpBB, and WordPress with my web app). Maybe I'll work there just to get this thing launched with you guys. Hehe.
