CI 3 + HMVC form_validation library problem

#11
I believe the problem is in your form. Can you post that? And ALL of your validation rules?
Quote:Unable to access an error message corresponding to your field name New Password.
That seems to indicate you have a field with the NAME 'New Password'.

At this point, I have to ask - have you modified the form validation library? Either by manually editing the original file or via a MY_Form_validation.php extension?
I've double-checked the relevant code in the library and I tried to reproduce the error myself, but with no success. I just don't see a way this may happen without altering the library.

I had this same problem in the CodeIgniter Form Validation Class that I created.

Call
PHP Code:
$this->form_validation->set_message('''');
just before you
PHP Code:
$this->form_validation->run();

There are no other validation rules and field name is 'password' ('New Password' is the mapped name for the view). Before the upgrade to CI 3 the form submission worked perfectly.

It's a problem related to HMVC (https://bitbucket.org/wiredesignz/codeig...sions-hmvc). Disabling it the validation library works correctly. :\
