Hi,
I've been trying to convince a friend of mine (developer) to use CodeIgniter for a project, but he thinks it's "just for small projects".
So do you know any big online application that runs on CodeIgniter so I can show it to him? I'm interested myself to see how CI performs in bigger applications.

Not sure what you mean by 'big', but ycnonline.com handles about 40,000 registered users, thousands of unique visitors every day, etc...

No, CI came later. Some of it's libraries are actually forked from the ExpressionEngine ones. EE2 will be built on CI.

www.wowdigger.com is made on CI, it's LARGE.
