This is a really nice project! Can you guess when this project will be done? I'm dying to see that! I agree with Nick Husher. First of all, a CMS should allow you to manage your content. (and I think none of open source CMSs has this feature. None of the enable you to define content). And, a very important feature is a Client Admin area. I mean, when we run the website with this CMS, our client had been able to edit content, configure things, and so on in a simplified way. Have you seen cmsfromscratch? (cmsfromsratch.com) this cms enable me as a designer to create the website and let the client edit the content. This is an important feature which I have not seen in any CMS. Isn't it better to turn a currently CMS into CI than scripting it from scratch? Then we can extend it... For example, e107! or Mambo which is a content driven CMS... |
