Mysql DB move 1 column (w/ data) from one table to another seamlessly? - El Forum - 07-17-2012 [eluser]Unknown[/eluser] I just had to register after finding this forum thread. It seems to be my answer to what I am after. As the thread is relatively ''old'' by www standards, I was hoping someone would be able to just acknowledge that this could be a path I could go down for what I am looking for, and that there isn't some new way of doing things which I might have missed. I use WP and a premium theme which creates data in the db in fields. Check. I use a different submission form, which creates a different field with data in. Check What I am trying to achieve by CRON (or CORN as the case might be ) is that the second submission form can ''transfer''the data to the WP field in db. Within your discussion above, the difference I have in the setup is that the field elements are not of similar name - so WP is abc for instance, and form is xyz. I am a MY SQL virgin really, so please put your gloves back on if you can give some guidance. Kindly Danie |
