There is a textmate and E-text editor bundle to speed up CodeIgnitor development. I have converted the bundles into a format that gedit snippets understand. You can download it from my site: http://www.toadi.org/blog/?p=102

Got a mac and use Textmate now
I used the original textmate bundle and converted it to gedit. It is not so complicated to do. I wrote a perl script for it, but you can do it with find/replace.
I lost the perl script...
