I have build dozens of sites using CI.
Now I upgraded to the latest version, and put it under a subdomain, and none of the images show up or the css files work.
If I try an absolute url to an image I get a 404 error.

Could someone help me?

The css files throw a CI 404, so my guess would be a misconfigured htaccess file somewhere. That's where I would start.
