I was wondering if anyone has successfully connected to Sybase ASA with the odbc_driver? Sadly I am stuck with Sybase ASA 9 and have only found results regarding use of Sybase ASE. Any information pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Using the SQL Anywhere Web Edition, I was able to connect my CI framework to Sybase ASA 9. This is awesome, the web edition download comes with a PHP driver that is extremely easy to implement.
