i have created website using CI in RHEL 4, if i create .htaccess in webserver's folder, it just only disappear and my index.php can't be removed.

Hello masipung,
this doesn't actually sound like something caused by code igniter.
I'd say your .htaccess file is not correct. But that can't cause the index.php to be not removable.
Did you check the access rights on your file system?
