Falls[/eluser] Hi, I will be installing EE on my server for CMS, and wanted to install CodeIgniter as well for some custom applications. Does anyone have experience with this? Will I have any issues? I'm thinking specifically with paths etc., will there be conflicts? Thanks for any help and patience. Still learning… CodeIngiter and ExpressionEngine - El Forum - 11-10-2009 [eluser]jeephnx[/eluser] I have similar problem where I want to write modules for EE 1.6x using CI. If so, how? thanks for your assistance CodeIngiter and ExpressionEngine - El Forum - 11-10-2009 [eluser]Phil Sturgeon[/eluser] Just wait 3 weeks and buy EE2. EE2 is basically a CodeIgniter application, just like your CodeIgniter applications. And we all know how to get multiple CodeIgniter applications working on a server right? CodeIngiter and ExpressionEngine - El Forum - 11-10-2009 [eluser]jeephnx[/eluser] Thanks Phil. Ive been considering this but Im on a short leadtime. If I new EXACTLY what I would get from 2.0 I might consider waiting, but Im worried about using a brand new version. I'm sure it will be great after a few months but I can't get a beta to play with now (I've asked!), and I cant wait till Dec to find out. so Im a bit stuck. Its 1.6 or a totally different product. |
