Hello Everyone,
I know a lot of you have your own blogs. I was wondering whether you would recommend using CodeIgniter to build your own (Yes I know EE is being built on CI) or do most of you use an established package like EE, Wordpress, or Moveable Type?

Depends on what you really want. If you can live with making a system be just what you want from someone else's idea of what they think you want, then why bother writing your own. On the other hand, I am sick of having to modify someone else's idea to be what I really want.
