Hi all,
I'm new here but I just wanted to say that CodeIgniter is brilliant. Although I have been a programmer for about 20 years I have never programmed in PHP before.
I just started learning about 3 weeks ago and since then in my spare time I have built a fully functional website (with user login, user-specific database driven pages, etc.) using CodeIgniter.
I think this is testimony to CodeIgniter's power, easy of use, comprehensive documentation and great community forums rather than any programming prowess on my part. If I wasn't able to find the answers I was after in the doco, I usually found them by scanning the forums.
