The books are written from a certain point of view and force one person's way of thinking on you. The user guide, on the other hand, is written from an objective point of view. It doesn't try and shove crappy examples or flawed logic down your throats like the books do. I'd say to become familiar with the user guide, and supplement it with various articles from various authors all over the web. |
