I can say that I WAS working for a company that was going to put out a social networking site, and I talked them into rebuilding it in CI, but I no longer work for them and haven't seen any updates to the site (not open yet), so I don't know if they are shutting down business, or found someone else to do it.
For those interested, the site is kollegelife.com, but as I said, I don't even know if they are going to put anything out. I was the only developer for the company, and I left for a different employment opportunity, so no guarantees.
If you try to register for pre-registration, the site requires your email address to be .edu, so if you are in school (or still have your old school account
) you can pre-register.
