I have a directory script that I believe would suite your needs. iClassEngine
It is a full codeigniter application and flexible enough to be used for jobs, directories, and/or general classifieds.
Right now it is in beta but I feel it would be a perfect fit for you.

Hey Nathan,
Might be a bit late to the party, but if you are looking for a stand alone job board app written in CI I have one.
You can see it here http://EkJobs.ca and it features payment processing via PayPal's IPN, Affiliate tracking, promo codes etc.
It also has templating and comes with two themes (the one you see and a more standard job board app layout).

I would be interested in the source code as well that you wrote for EkJobs. Not for any projects that I am doing but because I am interested in looking at how other Codeigniter developers do things like authentication and payments.
