I recently finished re-factoring my asset management library Matchbook. Matchbook manages script, stylesheet and image assets. It provides an API to the <head> content and includes helpers to work with script, stylesheet and image assets in your views. Matchbook uses the basic markup of html5-boilerplate but leaves it up to you if you'd like to implement all the extra goodies.
