I think that the collapse icon shown on main forum page is inverted for each subforum.

I think you're right! That's something I never would have noticed.
Though the plus icon is named collapse.png and the minus icon is named collapse_collapsed.png, and they do have a tool tip indicating the action the click will perform. So I think it may be working as designed and those icons are meant to represent the current state rather than the action.

I think some other icons also broken. A closed thread icon is also missing. We will try to fix it.
