The devs rarely look on these forums. Most don't actually fix issues any longer; they just act like traffic cops and merge other peoples pull requests. So if you really want it fixed, it would be best to fix it yourself and issue a pull request on GitHub.

Anyone still looking for a fix, I have modified the router class within the System/Core directory. I think it works as it should but please test and let me know. I've uploaded the modified router.php. Please backup your original file.
