Curious to hear what people feel is the best setup for a server hosting a code igniter site, and also their CI setup.
Ideally, some benchmarking data if you've got it as well to compare against ongoing.

Try to place your system and application folders in the root of the server.
like my server is under public_html so my system and application folders are above that
../
Only index.php is in public_html, but this depends on the server configuration.
