Hi guys,
I was wondering, why does CI (2.0.1) not use absolute paths to include CI files... In index.php there is a APPPATH and BASEPATH, where BASEPATH is an absolute path but the APPPATH is not... why is this? Absolute paths are faster right?

Yup absolute paths are faster.
