After looking a bit around through the different modular extensions for codeigniter they seemed so 'complicated' that I started working on my own. However it occurred to me right now that somebody for sure must have compared all the different extensions out there, yet I haven't been able to find such a text myself, so hereby I thought I should ask the community. Oh well, it's not that important anymore, as I am already halfway making my own implementation, but still thought I could ask.

The only one I (and many others) would even begin to consider for CodeIgniter is Modular Extensions from wiredesignz.
