Looking for scafflolding tool - El Forum - 07-20-2011 [eluser]CI shocki[/eluser] Hi guys, I know the scaffolding feature of CI is deprecated. I would like to build a simple Backend which is based on my mySQL structure. If possible with the possibilty to upload some pictures to a given server destination. I know they have been some attemps in the past to build some kind of scaffolding tool. Does anybody know if one of those projects have been finished? If there isn't a solution for CI it would also be OK to use a non CI script. I have been looking for something like this for ages. I have my big CMS, or can code a complete backend with CI. But for something really simple I would love to have some kind of scaffolding tool available. Thanks alot for your help Looking for scafflolding tool - El Forum - 07-21-2011 [eluser]b0ris55[/eluser] Have a look at FormIgniter. http://formigniter.org/ Looking for scafflolding tool - El Forum - 07-21-2011 [eluser]stuckinphp[/eluser] The scaffolding code is pretty simple, I'd bet you could re-integrate it quite simply. Send me a PM if you get stuck. Looking for scafflolding tool - El Forum - 07-22-2011 [eluser]CI shocki[/eluser] Thanks alot. Pretty cool. I will try that on custom future projects. I think this will save me a lot of time. This is a complete (non CI) tool I found. http://www.sqlmaestro.com/products/mysql/phpgenerator/ It is really powerfull and quite flexible. Building complete Backend forms is just a matter of clicks. With relations, image uploads, validation, inline editing, , WYSIWG editor and even custom mySQL queries. I which it would generate CI code though ![]() |
