creating a second instance of a library - El Forum - 10-01-2011

i have a library that is used more than one per use.
case and point, i have a group library that validates group access per login session, but there will be times where the group library will check the group status of other users(like a member list or a 'who's on-line list")
i tried to create a second instance and it doesn't seem to work. is there a way to do this or am i doomed to try another idea on this issue?
