Hi everybody,
Let me make this first post on this forum! I'm glad we finally have a new home dedicated to the Codeigniter Project!
Time has passed with silence and inaction, which didn't do the Codeigniter project any good. I really hope we can set up some good milestones and start transforming Codeigniter into the vibrant framework it once was.
For that we need to build up a solid community willing to dedicate some time into re-igniting the fire!
We can do this!

This is all very new and different, when Ellis Labs had CI, they did things their way, I am sure the new way will be just as nice, if different.
I agree though, I did like the look of the EL forums, they seemed more friendly than the myBB style, which feels very technical.
