I'm trying to figure out why I keep getting this error:

inst is undefined
$dp = inst.dpDiv;Here's a jsfiddle I came up so you could see what I've done. I've also found a thread on stackoverflow that talks about this and I attempted each of the possibilities that people have suggested but none of them have given me a working solution. Any ideas?
