I guess what you want to achieve is that the file downloaded
by the browser is opened with wordpad instead of notepad?
If I got you right:
That is not codeigniter related. The user has to define himself
what editor should open .txt files.

ah ok thanks for the information... just want to ask how can i implement a shopping cart that have a search code? instead of viewing all the products.
