Statistics are important information. From the statistics below, you can see that Internet Explorer is the most common browser. However, FireFox has become quite popular as well.

There was a recent report that Firefox is gaining substantial market share in Europe. I'd provide a link if I had it - check on Google.
Can't wait for FF3 - I have a feeling it is going to be buggy though.
