Hi Guys
I'm a complete and utter noob when it comes to webhosting. From what I've gathered online, I've ftp sent the website to the public folder on the webserver. In my codeigniter website I've change the databse.php database names, user, password and hostname. I've also changed the base_url in the config.php file but it still doesnt seem to work. Please any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated!!

Be sure to make the 'cache' and 'logs' folder writable, or you'll get nothing but a blank screen.

Also, "doesn't seem to work" is not helpful. Are you getting an error? What exactly is not working?
