Hello,

everything is in the title
I keep getting this error, it just gets on my nerves
since I already provided the correct login/pass to my application

I changed the auth to none, the error goes away, but if I change it back to digest, the error comes back
I cleaned my pass for my localhost wamp machine, but it does not asks the credentials anymore

please help me, this is extremely annoying

Have no idea; CI doesn't have a built-in auth system, so it's specific to your code and libraries but you show no code or tell what libraries you are using.

Maybe for some files the web-server has no read access right?

Edit: 403 Not Authorized?

ok,

my bad, I am new to Igniter, so I forgot to mention , this is in the REST_Controller I downloaded

but Ia m more a java than a php programmer, so I dont understands why the session is not taking the credentials I already gave before

I had to send the credentials in the POST data
