Hi
Because there are a lot of writings about Back Compatibility and upgrading of CI apps.
I have 1 purpose about creating small Upgrade Tool/Helper.
It can scan app folders and make proposals to developers while they are upgrading an app.
It can trigger errors for any not supported BC so developers to be able to focus on the problem a lot faster than to search for each 1 problem.
I don't think that it will be possible that tool to help always on 100% but at least in most common things related of BC.

I think this sounds like a good idea
It may not be the easiest to build, but it could address a number of upgrade anxieties.
