About Admiral Grace Murray Hopper - David958 - 03-09-2017
Hi all, Have anybody heard about Admiral Grace Murray Hopper. How many of you know that she was a person who assisted in the development of COBOL language. I was doing some research on the evolution of programming languages. Then, I found one infographic about her life history http://www.storagepipe.com/who-is-grace-hopper/. It was really interesting. The Hopper hall is set to be completed in 2019. This is going to be first military academy building named after a woman. I thought it would be nice information to share here.

Some nice information there. I'd heard her name & knew there was a link to COBOL. I didn't know how much.
