I am trying to create a shopping cart in CodeIgniter, Could you guys suggest me any easy method that works perfect.

That's the spec you're expecting helpful responses from?
Maybe consider shopify.
Or use Paypal buttons (the buy now ones)
But anything more than a simple single one-off transaction will not be easy - and - few things are perfect.
