This forum is a pain to navigate on mobile. I understand it was written by one of the admins? Any chance to get an update for mobile-friendly layout?

It is *supposed* to be mobile friendly, but there have been complaints for some time about it not being so. The same applies to the user guide. I'm not a CSS pro, nor do I have time to dive into it, sorry!

Is this instantiation of MyBB taking pull requests? How far forked are we from https://github.com/mybb/mybb? I'd be glad to poke at it a bit.

It is not a fork, sorry. It is a pretty normal downloaded instance, as far as I can tell, with a few plugins installed. One of the early forum members setup the CSS for it, but the MyBB files are a dog's breakfast, with CSS all over the place, and I am not sure which ones would be relevant.
We have talked about migrating to a "better" forum, but that project isn't high on the priority list, compared to other jobs in progress.

Gotcha. Well if it comes up again please remember me as willing to work on it - but I definitely understand having higher priorities.
